Domestic Violence Project CLE & Reception:

  • Location: Tonkon Torp 1300 SW 5th Ave #2400, Portland, OR 97201. 
  • Date and Time: Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 4 to 6 pm
    • Housing Rights for Domestic Violence Survivors CLE, 4-5 pm
    • Reception with drinks and appetizers, 5-6 pm .
  • Cost: Free!

CLE Description: Rebecca Morgan and Diane Nguyen from Legal Aid Services of Oregon will present a Housing Rights for Domestic Violence Survivors CLE and will explore crucial topics under state and federal law, including:

  • The connection between domestic violence and housing instability.
    A survivor’s right to change locks, terminate a rental agreement, or remove an abuser from a lease.
  • Rights to move to a safer unit and recover security deposits when damage stems from abuse.
  • Available resources to help survivors maintain safe housing.
