On September 13, CEJ held our 22nd annual Marion-Polk luncheon, with 250 members of the Salem-area legal community attending. Justice Adrienne Nelson gave remarks on the importance of equal access to justice. Luncheon attendees raised an amazing $47,996, well above what was raised at last year’s event, bringing this year’s Marion-Polk total so far to $52,700!
Legal aid is an essential service in Marion and Polk Counties and all over the state. Your support at the luncheon and beyond helps to create a more fair legal system and address unmet legal needs. By giving back to our profession, we affirm the belief that justice for all is a right, not a privilege.
