Portland

Associates Committee:

Associates at Portland firms come together to raise money for legal aid in many ways. This committee hosts an event in the fall called Party Under the Stars. They also host the Raffle for Justice. Lastly each associate helps run their individual firms fundraising campaign for legal aid.

Mid-Size Firm Committee:

Individuals from mid-size firms in Portland come together to spearhead fundraising within their own firms as well as other mid-size firms.

Committee Co-Chairs: Denise Gorrell (Denise.gorrell@samuelslaw.com) and Sara Heskett (sara.heskett@hklaw.com)

Large Firm Committee:

This committee is made up of partners from large firms in Portland. These individuals help organize internal fundraising efforts within their own firms. The committee works together to help support each other through shared ideas and problem solving.

Corporate Attorneys Committee:

This is a new committee starting up this campaign year. It is made up of corporate in house attorneys who will help organize fundraising efforts and CLE classes.

Portland and Statewide Committee

Retired Attorneys Committee:

This committee is also relatively new, just started last year. It is made up of retired lawyers as well as lawyers who are still practicing. The goal of this committee is to help deep the community connected and looped in with the work legal aid is doing.

Regional Committees

Each regional steering committee helps organize fundraising efforts in their regions. There is an annual luncheon event which they help plan and volunteer at, as well as direct outreach to increase participation throughout the community,
